The prevalence rate of albinism in Nigeria is ranked amongst the highest in the world with an estimated figure of over two million albinos living in the country. In an earlier interview I had with Nigerian born Ikponwosa Ero is the first United Nations Independent Expert on the enjoyment of human rights by persons with albinism.
