Album Vs. Album Ep. 12- King Kobra Vs. Rough Cutt

This week on album Vs. album we put King Kobras "Ready To Strike" against Rough Cutt's Same Titled debut. Ready to Strike features the songs "Hunger" which was written by the members from Kick Axe. It was also featured in the original Transformers movie. At this time in the band King Kobra had vocalist Mark Free who would later become Marci Free and also drummer Carmine Apice. Rough Cutt's debut was produced by Judas Priest producer Tom Allom. Also features a song called "Take Her" which was Co-Written by DIO. The songs "Dreamin' Again" and "Black Widow" were co-written by Wendy Dio, Ronnie's wife. There is also a cover song "Piece of My Heart" which was originally performed by Erma Franklin, though Janis Joplin made it famous, and many people mistakenly believe Janis Joplin was the original performer of the song.
