Albummed Out

from Punkadelic Podcast · host Punkadelic Podcast

A music episode at long last, episode 8 of Punkadelic Podcast delivers and then some with the music recs this week. We kick things off talking about the long term plan for Punkadelic Podcast, discuss the nuances and subtleties of what goes into producing our "Walloper Watch" segment and get into the albums of 2020. And I mean really get into, I go thru my entire longlist of albums (31 in total) I'm interested in from last year and give my surface level impressions, and talk about which I feel deserve more attention. Hopefully some day soon I'll be ready to draw some conclusions on that front. But that day is not this day. From there it's a quick blast through a 30 Day Song Challenge in less than 30 Minutes, recommending some stone cold classics along the way there. At that stage I'd been talking swa to myself high in my bedroom for an hour twenty so we didn't get time to do Walloper Watch this week...back with a bang next week!  Link to the albums playlist for anyone interested: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0m1saWNjGzqrS4Dk3BpIzi?si=NbFtqPX9QTCTlkGN3g61Ow&utm_source=copy-link
