Alderman Tom Oldenburg Steps Down | St. Louis News

Alderman Tom Oldenburg, a long-serving voice for Ward Two since 2017, has announced he won’t seek re-election when his term ends in April 2027. Having navigated ward boundary changes and multiple elections, he’s represented neighborhoods like Bevo, Boulevard Heights, and St. Louis Hills — and even ran for the St. Louis School Board in 2015 without success. His departure creates a major opening on the Board of Aldermen, setting the stage for a new leader to step into the shoes of a stalwart public servant who helped shape the new Ward Two after last year’s redistricting.
