Aleman Optioned, Brogdon Called Up | Cleveland Guardians News

Guardians’ playoff hopes hang in the balance after a brutal loss to the Twins, fueled by rookie pitcher Franco Aleman’s disastrous one-inning meltdown. With the team now 2.5 games behind first place and just one ahead of Toronto for the wild card, every start matters — and the Guardians are scrambling to find stability on the mound as they race toward October.
