Alex families forced from homes by criminal syndicate

SAfm — A criminal syndicate is allegedly forcing vulnerable families out of their homes, in Alexandra in Northern Johannesburg. So far about 20 families have been forcefully removed from their homes by the gangs, who want to sell their homes to third parties. It is alleged that the police are involved by turning a blind eye to this even after the incidents were reported. The criminals use violence and threaten to shoot those who resist.
