Coming soon...Durham will have a new place for film aficionados, art enthusiasts and everyone in between to watch movies and live events. Owners of Shadowbox Studio, Alex Maness and Jim Haverkamp, plan to open 'Skin and Bones Theater' on Parrish Street in Summer 2026. 'Skin and Bones' will be a place where you can view independent films and documentaries and where filmmakers can showcase their work. Alex Maness and Jim Haverkamp, the owners of Shadowbox Studio, joined Jeff Hamlin to discuss Durham’s newest movie theater.
