Alex Morizio- Doctor, Comedian, and Chef Extraordinaire

Alex Morizio is a board certified ICU medical doctor at Palmetto General hospital.  He was born in Brooklyn NY, and raised in Old Bridge, NJ.  After attending high school, Christian Brothers Academy, and college at Rutgers, he received his Medical Degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He trained at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Miami in 2008.  During his training in 2006, a close friend suggested that he perform stand-up comedy to balance his life.  He's been hooked ever since! Alex goes on stage to perform stand up on a weekly basis, and says it's been a fantastic complement to his life.  Growing up in an Italian house, he was always exposed to cooking and has now taken it to the next level by starting his own cooking show on IG LIVE called "Cooking with Al" at 8PM every Tuesday night --> @dralexmorizio This is his story.
