Alex Shepherd is a Consultant Pharmacist with a passion for healthy ageing and a fierce dedication to flexible, patient-centred care. Juggling many hats - including HMR Consultant, WA Sales Representative for Bold Health, and mum to two energetic boys under four - Alex is proof that pharmacists can shape dynamic and fulfilling careers beyond the dispensary.After years working in community pharmacy, Alex made the courageous shift to Home Medicine Reviews (HMRs) and Residential Care Reviews. Motivated by a desire for better work-life balance and the flexibility to be present for her family, she built a career that allows her to do meaningful work while staying close to what matters most.Her deep appreciation for rural healthcare shines through in her ongoing commitment to servicing regional and remote communities across Western Australia. With extensive locum experience, Alex brings both empathy and clinical rigour to every HMR she delivers.Alex’s role with Bold Health was sparked by a desire to improve access to high-quality nutritional solutions for older adults - especially protein supplementation for those over 60.
