A formal set-piece in Minos's court: Alexander and Hannibal argue precedence, with real competitive heat. Hannibal makes the most self-made case — no divine parents, no fake gods, just the Alps and the Po and rings measured in bushels. Alexander answers with the Granicus, the Ocean, and Porus.
