Alfie Boe - Percussion Discussion - Episode 127 Joining me today is Global Singing Megastar Alfie Boe OBE. Alfie is of course known for being a singer, recording countless hit albums and selling out concert halls acrosss the world.....BUT.... you guessed it, he is also a drummer too and a very passionate one at that. Join Alfie and myself as we explore his passion for drums from where it began as an 8 year old in blackpool playing on cushions on his bed through to his parents suprising him with his first real drum set at the age of 12, Alfie tells us how he ended up in many of the local clubs in his native Blackpool playing along with the resident organists and providing backing for visiting cabaret acts.
