In 1871, Alfred successfully established his company in England also, known as Nobel’s Explosives Company.In 1888, on a trip to France, Alfred by chance read an obituary which had been written about him in error. After reading the title, Le marchand de la mort est mort (The merchant of death is dead), Alfred felt the need to reconsider his legacy. Several years after reading the obituary in the French newspaper, Alfred established the Nobel Prizes in his Will. Who was Alfred Nobel??
