In the dead of night as people sleep that is when the spirits creep as the bell tolls three dark things take power We like to call it the supernatural Hey, welcome to the supernatural hour. This is your host Raven. This is Chad. It's moon and I'm whiskey Some of them put this out there, you know when we have investigations I would say you know don't whisper because that could be an EVP if you make a noise just own it If you think that you hear an EVP of a demon growling when you listen to this podcast That is not a demon growling my stomach has just been very chatty today So just we're just gonna start the EVP off on that note and hope that it will just come up from there start the EV off E.P.

off see or the podcast off you know what I mean just run it is trying to compete with the thunderstorm you had today It's been a stressful week just All right, let's our business dad business is sponsored by Castle Photo Art He did some really good pictures for our daughter's graduation. Oh, they're fabulous She hates them all because you know that's how teenage girls are but I think they're cute and even more important as she graduated Yes Those are pictures you showed us at the investigation So yeah, they're really good pictures. Yeah, she's like a magazine cover model picture There's one that she looks like it's her IMDB picture I am the MD That's right first time yep So we are looking for an investigation for June. We're still looking We had one that we were hoping to be able to go to and I'm even gonna talk about it a little bit the investigation We're not going to have and that is at the Fielding Bar Ranch on Antelope Island Yes, I have I have opinions on this the events coordinator has opted it not to do that because they've had some negative blowback from other investigations They've done there so we can thank previous investigators and camera crews and shows for taking that off of the rotation We were really looking forward to that shows being keyword bear folks You know and it's not even just go hunting if you're doing anything that someone else's establishment You know be respectful because it doesn't just affect you and your group if you're not it affects other groups That would have been a fantastic place They would have been open to it, but because some people were jerks now.

We're not able to go there Yeah, you can't go out to the internet and see some footage from some previous investigations There's some things from KSL back in 2021 where they were talking about some of the hauntings and some of the things out there as investigators Individuals you're more than welcome they said to come out and go through it through their normal business hours Keep that in mind as investigations as investigators as you do the paranormal and again as as Raven said be respectful It looked like a great venue and I was really excited to be able to to go out there And just for the record it wasn't KSL that did the negative blowback. Well, just let you keep working that out Kind of investigating a lot like hiking you start littering and disrespecting the trail. It's gonna get shut down for everybody Yep, absolutely. So we are working on a couple of leads for some summer investigations We've got some good ones that we think we've got going on I've actually got a couple calls out waiting for some callbacks to get some things going on if we don't hear anything in the next week We do have some old standbys that are new not old old standbys and you're old standbys So we won't go without an investigation where to so fun to get some replaces we haven't been to before yeah, well, hopefully get you some new ones We do have a new patron.

Yes, we do. I'm really excited about that Per initials RKS. So KS if you're listening to us I I think I've sent you an email requesting some of your contact information so we can send you out the Insiders packet I will follow up on that and make sure that that email I did write it and I thought I said it I look at some sent emails I'm not sure that it went out so I need to look on that anyway be looking for an email from us and We need a response we want to find out how you want to be referred to out here But this is a shout out for you. We're really appreciative to have you You'll get slag swag swag will be sent out pretty quick and it's pretty cool.

So yeah, so Raven yes We just got some new equipment with the patron money. What you want to talk about that a little bit? Yes, we did So okay, we're just gonna get a little real here. So we're recording today.

It's end issue of May We're recording our next episode which will come out in a week episode will actually come out in a week and then Chad and I are going to be gone and And so we don't have time to record one on our usual kind of schedule for the next podcast So we're recording two in a row So this podcast and the next podcast that you listen to are going to be on our old recording system whiskey has got us We have tested it. We're actually gonna start recording not through zoom But through discord which is a much better sound much better stuff And so we tested it with whiskey a few days ago and it actually worked pretty like a couple little little hang ups But one of those hang ups is gonna get solved with new microphones So we bought new microphones that will work better with the discord recording and the discord recording will work better overall So the product that you are paying to listen to is going to be overall better because you are paying to Let's not that you're paying to listen to this podcast But because you're paying into the page and we're able to get equipment and resources to make the podcast better So thank and we might even do some video ones Well, we will do some video ones so I actually look good because the video will be good too That will be fun I'll have to not sit here in my unwashed and hair washed bun on my hair. So we'll put the video on our You know Anyway, and as long as we're talking about discord whiskey and I have set up our patreon discord I know we've talked about it forever and we decided to do it. It's there.

It will go live soon So if you're listening to this and you're not yet a patreon It's never too late sign up for patreon because you're gonna have your own discord channel And it has got all sorts of goodies on there that you will just love also If you remember a couple podcasts ago, I said I had this great idea for our patrons and then I forgot what it was I remembered we're actually gonna start having an occasional patreon guest on our podcast if they want to I mean, we're not gonna force you to us. That's not your thing We're not gonna like come to your house and but we can say yes through a through a discord link and the new methodology that we're doing through discord We'll be able to send you a link to your computer and you can use your computer's video and microphone and And you don't have to do video if you want to see just a voice and we can just ask you what your philosophies are what you like about it I mean doesn't have to be anything scary You'll know what the topic is if you want to chime in the topic you're more than welcome if you don't want to But those are those are some of the things are doing for patrons. All right And last thing I've got is we've got some advanced paranormal services wristbands that are available for sale get those through our Website at advanced paranormal calm and our events and at our events or you can just email Okay, we'll give them to you one or another All right I think it's time for an episode of Tails with Moon and this story is courtesy of Annie again And we are gonna be talking about a resident named Margaret and she was in the early stages of dementia She was mostly self-sufficient She just needed help with like changing her bedding and doing small buttons lifting laundry baskets and reminding her of her appointments But Margaret she's kind of funny and she had some quirks She liked to take things from the nursing home like mostly not significant things and she kind of squirled them away in her bedroom She would take things like condiment packets or throw pillows from the lobby and just I don't know She'd like to have them but she did so the staff thought this was mostly harmless and funny, you know until one night, right? During a full moon shift where residents were getting ready for bed and there was a commotion coming from Margaret's room And her call button was going off like crazy And so Annie walks down and she could hear screaming and so she bolts in there and she walks into the bathroom and another CNA is holding Margaret back from throwing some hands another resident named this Gertrude and Gertrude was holding a pair of dentures and Margaret was screaming at Gertrude calling her a thief and Gertrude put the dentures in her mouth and said see their mind and they told Gertrude to go back to her room and Margaret was Welling and screaming and saying she was going to call the police So this was pretty extreme compared to her sugar packets or whatever she would take from the kitchen, you know But she was convinced that those dentures were her dentures and so they showed her her own dentures and helped her put them in And she was still just upset just thinking that they were hers And she was upset clear until the next day until that moon went down and then she went back to normal like nothing happened Oh, well, that's interesting, right?

So basically a werewolf. Basically, I mean a were dentures They need to bite stuff too. They need dentures too. Oh, that's crazy.

Oh, yeah So I just wanted to remind y'all if you have a moon story send it my way, please send it to apps.wist.contact at gmail.com Or you could just send your fan mail to Raven and Shannon whiskey and we'll get that through them instead. So do what you want? Also, I want to give a shout out to New Don't Hit No Therapy Laura specializes in mental and emotional behavior control and Decentatization of abuse and trauma she can aid in relief with stress and anxiety She also is amazing at sports and sales coaching and she can help you remotely from your home if you look far away or out of the state So go ahead and contact her today and you can contact her at newdonhitnotherapy.com Yes, call now operators are standing by Today we're gonna talk about Algernon Blackwood and I remember we briefly mentioned him another topic a long time ago And he's been on the list to do for a while and I figured it was about time and it's funny because we're just gonna go back to creepy Victorians Victorians were creepy they did creepy things people without electricity and internet did really weird things so Algernon Blackwood was born in March of 1869. He died in December of 1951 and he did a lot of stuff He was a broadcasting narrator a journalist a novelist He wrote short stories, but ultimately he was the most prolific ghost story writer in the history of the genre at the time One of the literary critics at the time stated that his work is more consistently notorious than any weird writers except the SNES And I don't know who Dessan is but I'm assuming that he was a very popular writer at the time And back in the day when they say weird writers they meant ghost stories in the paranormal and supernatural So you may hear us call it weird once in a while We're using the the verbiage of the Victorian times We don't think it's weird and if we do embrace it because we're just as weird because we do it So but that's that's the Victorian terminology is weird writing.

Yeah another author and kind of that genre I'm trying to remember what they were calling a HP Lovecraft kind of the same thing we talked about him before And I've been listening to some of his his works, which are very interesting But you know you heard of HP Lovecraft. I hadn't really heard of this guy before Elgernon Blackwood found it interesting we were learning Well, I think the funny thing is you know a lot of these famous people you know or that break it big in some aspect or another You know, I mean even actors today they start off doing other little jobs And I think it's funny his dad was Stevenson Blackwood he was a post office administrator His mom was the widow of the sixth Duke of Manchester So she was actually a touches and they had some pretty strict religious ideals and Elgernon kind of got into Hinduism Never really adhered any religion, but looked into a lot, you know including Buddhism, but I think just It's funny I was just looking at some of the stuff he did and I mentioned a few things but among the writing things like the narrator in the Journalism he was also a very farmer. He operated a hotel for six months He was a bartender a model a private secretary a businessman a violin teacher and at one point He was conned out of his cash and framed for arson. So this fellow has just seen and done a lot of stuff He's also a member of one of the factions of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which sounds like something from a video game Which you know like I kind of fed into his occultism kind of background and a very Very interested outdoors man.

So it's weird because you think someone that's a weird author which I am a current day weird author I don't write horror stories, but I'm weird and an author so that's A fun story, but a lot of the times like you think of somebody who writes stories like that to live on a lonely Isolated house on top of a hill this guy like to be outside and do stuff Yeah, well before we get too far out there just the the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn I looked it up because I you know what it was like what is that? I mean it's actually a secret society that was they spent a lot of time studying and practicing her Metacism metaphysics, so I mean it wasn't like a secret society like the hellfire club and he was also Joined a thing called the Ghost Club which was a paranormal investigation and research organization in London It was founded in 1862 and it's believed to be the oldest Such organization in the world and it hasn't been a continuous club But it is around today and it still investigates ghosts and hauntings So he was a nice ghost investigator I think on that secret society to talk about as I remember Alistair Calcrali was also a member of that later Oh, I think you're right as I remember Recollect being that from one of our podcasts when we talked about Alistair Crowley who was as they say one of the most evil men in the world He was a pretty bad dude I think he was a member of the one that was like the psychics or something like that. I don't know if he's a member that one Yeah, he was a outgeon on blackwood. Sorry.

I had to say like that at least once was I was It was pretty interesting. I think the kind of more looked into him the more Interested I became and kind of what he believed in what he wrote. He was really he wasn't into trying to like scare people with his ghost stories Like realistically his spooky stories or stories that tried to open your mind a little bit like the possibility of the unknown essentially like Those those stories that you watch that don't jump scare you the whole time But then you're like maybe scared to turn the lights off because you don't know what's real like He's really like breached into your reality and a lot of that is because of his ideology that you know consciousness is not just a single ideology, right? Like you're not just conscious that you can grow and expand your consciousness and while doing that you become aware of Alternate realities which he best described as the supernatural right the things that are above natural consciousness Which is also interesting because really in the same vein of his theories it kind of goes to one of Raven's theories about Poltergeist and being an extension of somebody's like consciousness But in like the metaphysical realm where you can't perceive it, but you're causing things to happen around you So I could like call it my blackwoodian theory The blackwoodian theory Yeah, it's all like it's interesting because unlike a lot of other people associated in this who are like very often occultism He was just more interested in like the magic that maybe we could perceive if we were able to train ourselves to perceive it and that like in everybody there's a little bit of this Magic and it's just a matter of kind of unlocking it, which sounds a lot like the X-Men, but That's a that's what that was interesting like he doesn't he doesn't seem like somebody that's too far out there from like a paranormal investigator Type thing he does seem like somebody that's just like I want to understand it and I want to describe What I think could be out there and why it exists and how it exists And I think a lot of his stories were influenced by that thought process Hinduism He developed an interest in Buddhism a lot of Eastern philosophies and he was just like outside all the time skiing amount climbing And I think when you spend a lot of time alone outside you start to kind of have the bigger picture questions I think that might have fueled a lot of his supernatural speculation.

Yeah, he actually wrote an autobiography And in his bio autobiography, he said this is a quote. I'll just read it He said by far the strongest influence in my life. However was nature bringing comfort to companionship inspiration joy the spell of nature has remained dominant a truly magical spell the early feeling that everything was alive a dim sense that some kind of consciousness struggled through every form Even that a sort of interticulate communication with this other life was possible, but I could discover the way these moods colored its opening wonder So yeah, like honestly, I would recommend it even just reading scripts with autobiography or how he described himself I would be interested to try to find like some of the short stories hero for newspapers They don't know how many he wrote for them at late notice But he's definitely somebody who was trying his best to grasp and describe the big picture of how everything is connected around us And I think I think it's pretty interesting. He's definitely one of those people that has the name like he should be scary And the personality of you know writing ghost stories and things like that, but at the the core of it he was just trying to Describe his experience and what we all experience Yeah, this guy was like super impressive.

He also wrote children's books and plays he just well He was very diverse. It seems as well just with his open-mindedness and I just found him pretty fascinating Yeah, I think some of the people that he influenced like he said was a Lovecraft There are actually a lot of movies that they say are based on some of his work Some of his most popular works was one called the Willow the funny thing is his most popular ones I have never heard of before but one was called the Willow Yeah, there's the Wendigo. Yes the Wendigo So if anybody has read those or heard of those yeah, those are those are his Yeah, if you do a YouTube search looking up to find information on him You get a lot more about his stories than actually his biography and himself and they look really interesting Yeah, one thing I thought was interesting is that he didn't make a ton of money off of this Even though he was very prolific and very popular at the time You know the Victorians are always telling ghost stories around the fire at Christmas time You know his would be it would be those and he would write the short stories like whiskey stated for the newspaper I wrote so many that we don't even know where they all are but he didn't make a ton of money It says he made enough money to live but he wasn't you know somewhat the super famous but he wasn't wealthy and famous Terrible management, I think is what that really boils down to you know He also technically influenced a Lord of the Rings a specific phrase in Lord of the Rings Which is interesting to think about and is referenced in a PlayStation game, which is also wild and it is Oh wait, we're gonna say it you go or I guess I'll go you got this So it was the crack of doom from the Lord of the Rings J.R.R. Tolkien.

He was inspired by him There's a few there's a bunch of people that were inspired by him Frank Bellnap from the story The Space Eaters from 1928 Clark Ashton Smith's Genius Loki from 1933 was inspired by his book The Transfer Caitlin Kernan's I don't know if I said that right but Threshold was inspired by Blackwood's work And she had said that he had a really important influence on her writing Henry Miller's the books in my life chose the Bright Messenger which was I heard was another one of his popular books And he said that was the most extraordinary novel on psychoanalysis Which that is the subject. I mean those obviously fascinate me But like psychoanalysis kind of has always fascinated me too There's a character in the novel by Rick Yancy that the curse of the Wendigo and he featured Algernon Algernon, sorry Blackwood and as was he said there's a video game called Until Dawn and the main setting is in Blackwood Pines and The main villain in that game is the Wendigo so he's had a lot of influence on a lot of people Another guy named Brian Houser said Blackwood's John Silence would be an example of supernatural detectives like Ichabod Crane from Sleepy Hollow And my favorite boxmolder from the X-Files One thing I just want to call out about this like you know we've been doing our research we've been talking about Secret Society's a lot lately They did not see the internet coming like we're just out here They're like oh, it's you bought in 10080 Secret Society, and I'm just like click not a secret No longer a secret we're gonna wrap out her medic order of the Golden Dawn. I know about you Well, they probably died thinking they took their secrets to the grave, but suckers They know a bunch of nerds with a podcast of talking about them hundreds of years later Yeah, so you know it this is just I don't know if this I think we talked about Elgin on Blackwood when we talked about scary ghost stories for Christmas time You know just briefly and he propped up and something else don't think of what it was doesn't matter But it just is kind of you know I don't know if this is more a ghost author genre or if this is just another segment of Raven things which are super creepy But he was very interesting I feel I Want to talk about something you know I want to talk about something because it's time to have whiskey talk about something I don't have a cool segment name yet. Maybe I'll call it like whiskey's barrel like the John I don't know we'll figure it out enter your comments below Recently our investigation I noticed that a lot of people there had their first interaction with the group that was using the assist method and The paranormal sphere it is very hard to tell once you're involved What is super popular and what's not?

As you might just be looking in whatever your algorithm feeds whenever research you've done and maybe just the groups you follow Do a certain thing and it just seems like oh everybody knows a lot of people weren't familiar with that So I want to talk about it a little bit and kind of like what I think so What type of some I want to tell you about so the Estes method essentially is using a spare box. That's that fun little box that goes ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch Just like that. That's probably a perfect excerpt It's just scanning radio stations at a certain frequency forward or backwards aim or FM and a certain speed and we use it a lot of investigations we get some pretty good responses I generally try to use it whenever I think I'm talking to more than one person and then we can start to get different voices out of it And even in the bathroom when Lucy showed up and she was apparently also in the basement calling for me at the same time And then I got scratched so it changed from a guy's voice to a girl's voice And I was pretty interesting but the essence method is taking one of those having somebody put on noise canceling headphones So all they can hear in the room is just the sound of the spirit box Which already would probably drive me insane and then covering their eyes with a blindfold or some other type of thing So that they are sensory deprived technically you can still feel the room you can still feel shifts vibrations things like that So you're not totally deprived but the idea is at least you're cutting out your outside influence of sight and sound and You just say whatever words you hear come up out of the spirit box And to me it's pretty interesting because I like when I have the spirit box out to like look around the room and see How people are reacting to what came out? Did we hear something?

Did you hear it say yes? Like what did you think it heard because it's all really fast in real time? So it's almost like you know, yep, so the person that's blindfolded in with the noise canceling headphones They're the only ones that can hear the spirit box is that correct? Correct.

That's actually yeah, that's that's one thing that makes that method interesting Personally, I've only done it one time and we fed this beer box So it split off and we could hear it as well, which also allowed us to be able to record it Just because I like to be able to debunk some but like if I don't know you I don't want you to be sitting there Almost like an app on your phone some of the apps are just wild I don't want you to put all that stuff on and then to say like murder dead buried six feet under hostage, you know I can't tell I can't tell if you actually heard anything or not But to that same point some people believe that it's not just a matter of their hearing the sound within the static But that they're entering a trance-like state and the static is helping like Hypnotize them almost because it's at a certain rate Exactly right in a lot of like times with what you see a hypnosis They try to keep something at the same right? They're counting or anything like that and that allows them to hear something else I still think that like even if that's the case it's kind of like personal experience what it talks up to but it is really interesting And it's fun to use yeah, so we trust everybody around you Yeah, so the last time I used it will get into this actually it segues nicely into our investigations What's was it the family tree and I have heard this heard of this before I've never had an opportunity to use it yet And so on my team I had two people that I've trusted and they're two of our patrons I have investigated with them several times I totally trust them and one of them had the headphones on blindfold on and we could I could not hear the static Which was fantastic I have to do this every time because the static gives me angst and then her friend, you know had He was holding you know the box and and the interesting thing the idea behind this is you're asking people It can't hear the static box is asking questions and then they're shouting out answers So the idea is you know We're not asking a question and then hoping that we can just make up an answer out of the spare box I'll let you know if it's relevant or not and it's interesting because when we were doing this it was downstairs in the family tree we're Lucy lives and We were getting very very relevant answers and we did this for probably I'm gonna guess 10 minutes and very relevant answers for about eight of those minutes and then It started to just then things just started to be real irrelevant and not matching up And so I touched her on the elbow just slightly to let her know okay, you know We're done now she got jumped through the roof and when she took the headset off she said She said there was a lot of very very very vulgar words swear words in there that she didn't repeat one of them slip one of them she just yelled out when she very first put it on because It just you know here we go and then she's like there's a lot that I didn't say which would make sense But let me just kind of go back just a little bit So as you know we did get into the building that used to be the family tree and it's interesting we have 10 investigations Roughly every six weeks, you know the exception of earlier this year when we had some trouble with the venue dropping out on us And you know over the holidays And I've never had so much feedback when we've announced an event nobody has ever contacted me, but I had people contacting me saying nothing's there anymore I've had people say everything is there plus some I had had people contacting me saying some stuff is there But some stuff isn't and I just I thought it was interesting But the fun thing about ghost investigating is you get to go and figure it out for yourself So we went and Lucy was there she we actually went to nights the first night She wasn't terribly acting but the second I think she got back into her theatrical swing because we were getting We we ran the gamut of stuff. We had audible growls. We had cold spots We had people getting touched and scratched and we had things move and we had a table literally picked up and moved This was upstairs just a little bit while they were in there Whiskey we were all on separate teams.

Tell me what your team's experienced Yeah, and just if this is the first podcast you listen to Lucy is an entity that was found in resides at the family tree So just to catch you guys up and we it was it was hard A lot of sounds kind of echoed throughout the whole place and there were just periods of time where it would be entirely dead The vibe in the room would not feel paranormal or anything like that like it would just feel kind of like we're all just sitting in a room And sometimes that happens. It's like oh and fishing Sometimes we don't catch anything the or queen moon actually got a really cool orb if you want to break that one down real quick I think this was the first night We got to go with two nights Which was really awesome because it was just our team getting to investigate and kind of get a fill because several of us have not Been there before so we didn't quite know what to expect you get really clear evidence that way But I think it was the first night where it was toward the end of the night And we were back in the men's bathroom I believe in the dining room area and I was just hey I'm gonna take some pictures and so I was I took about three pictures and Whiskey was goofing and made a funny face and I took one and there's this orb just above his head Did you get scratched like right after that or was that's where I got just a little that that first night I got that little mark on there on my arm And then the second night is when I got the big mark Yes, and I got a picture of that too, but yeah, I took some pictures and nothing was there for two of the pictures And the third one well actually I think it was the first one where we caught it and then two more We're just nothing after so it we got a pretty good size orb by his head in the bathroom and the video one by the you're in on the basement Oh, yes, yes, that was the first night as well And I just never been here and it's really filthy So you just don't know what you can trust, you know with dust and things like that But I think Christy she had her triangle motion sensor out and she had it in this little bathroom where there's a urinal and The motion sensor goes off and so I whip out my camera to record and as I'm recording you see this flash And it's it was like a purplish blue flesh and I was like what was that and so we look at it It's it's obviously not dust, you know, so it was more compelling evidence than I've gotten before I think recording so that was pretty exciting for me. Yeah, we actually did just a there is We're still going through stuff. We set up four cameras this time, which is actually really cool I think a lot of people like looking at them and I did a quick little frame by frame analysis on that particular one and what's very interesting about it is you know It does it appears and disappears within a tenth of a second like literally a blink of an eye Three frames at three frames per second.

It's not there. It's there and then it's not there again when it appears for the first time It comes in at full brightness and it's like this bluish purple color and the second frame that you can't see it It's fading out, but the only other light source in there is actually brighter So it's unrelated to the light source. It's not lens flare There is dust that kind of goes through and it looks kind of wispy like dust kind of normally does this actually made its own purple Light and it was right after we got a response back there Another thing that kind of happened we were doing almost like a strange version of the estus method So my sister attended the night one and she was a little scared to go in the basement Which if you haven't came with us before I can promise you if you come with the investigators Our team it's not gonna be scary. It will be dusty, but not scary And she we left a box up there just like a little ITC device that was giving word responses And it would respond to us and she couldn't hear us We weren't talking super loud, but we'd have her shout every time she heard something And it would be relevant and then at one point when we weren't getting much activity I went kind of behind this furnace or whatever it was like hey We haven't stood back here and if something's hiding in here I'm gonna go like I'll make sure does not have anywhere to hide you know So I go back there and I feel like just like a searing poke in my back and then my sister literally at the time like right before I'm Able to say anything she goes I touched you And that's cool I didn't hear that one before yeah We were shocked like oh my gosh that just happened Like it was insane like literally as I'm about to be like it touched me We had to make her repeat herself because I'm done like I just got poked like stabbed back and And and there that was it was it was a it was interesting But I think the craziest part I mean I got scratched we had some interesting responses like a gambler down in the basement Everybody seemed to have a pretty good time But the weirdest part of all of it to me was every night when we were preparing to weave the half of the building with a dining room Would suddenly shift like it would feel like you were gonna get jumped when you walked in like something was Waiting for yes, so we were it was about I think we were closing up.

I don't even think there was very many of us there Was it just the four of us? I think the five of us. Yeah. Yeah, because Christy was there as well So we were you know We were literally putting chairs away and cleaning up and getting trash and I had to go to the bathroom and I've got investigated paranormal investigated, you know professionally I mean with this with this official organized group for 12 years and I have never been scared and And I wasn't scared, but I went to go to the bathroom and I was like no I'm gonna wait for a friend.

I just I've never had a feeling of no I'm not gonna go there by myself before but I did that night well It was a total separate area too It's not like your friends are in the other room like you have to walk into this kitchen down a step and then up a step through some saloon doors It's just totally separate So it was spookier if you were alone and I refused to go and tell people offered to be in the other room Which I'm not scared easily either but I was like and before the bathroom I actually took some chairs in there by myself and I was just like I felt like I was five years old and scared of the basement I was like, oh sure, don't get up It was just it was weird though because like in the beginning of the day I could walk in and out of there just find it like check and make sure the cameras were set up everything It was only afterwards. Oh, yeah, no to go get the chairs. I was fine get the chair get the chair Go grab you know I went in there to grab some paper towels because the chairs were really dusty and I clean the chairs off and yeah But something about just later that night is like I'm good It was after everybody laughs because when me and whiskey we were co-partners Leading the team that night But like as we went in there I was investigating nothing nothing okay twos were lighting up that second night There was just nothing and I'm like, I guess I'll go into the bathroom. See I wasn't scared I went to the bathroom by myself.

There's definitely a vibe in there But I wasn't scared whiskey was down with some of the people in the basement and yeah It just was it was boring and so I left and then it was not boring closer to midnight I don't know it's kind of fun to investigate so late because it does it can change like that witching hour is a real thing Right, so you know a couple things I noticed about going to the family tree this time that's been different back when it was a working restaurant There's a lot of walls that were there that are no longer there Which made it a little different dynamic it's in the process of being remodeled and so in that back If you know if you've investigated there You know what I'm talking about but in the back dining area Not not the main one but the one that back behind the kitchen all the walls are gone They've torn the flooring out and so it just had there's a few holes in the ground and so wouldn't in the floor So when we went to when we were in the basement There's another as some other son duo that has investigated with this a lot and we were like wow did you see that? Oh look at that We were seeing these orbs speeding across the floor We were so excited because like oh we've seen this like two or three times But then we realized later that it was people's flashlights shining through literally a whole And so we're like oh and so we went back down and you know He went down and I was up and I'm pointing my flashlight here and pointing and he's like oh no those were flashlights from upstairs I'm like oh I'm disappointed no so at the start of our investigations if you've never been on one with us before We will do a little PowerPoint presentation and you talk about the history and you know Maybe have some picture evidence if we've been there before and talk about the do's and don'ts of ghost hunting You know for those that have never done that before as well and I was really really tired that day really tired I'm more tired than I've been in a while and I may have referred to the team leads as tour guides so Yeah, apparently I will never let that down and that's okay Not until we forget so Actually, don't can you add a new title on to the advanced part normal website for me really quick is just like there's team lead investigator tour guide That could be done Another fun thing that happened when we were down in the basement the first night We would tell some jokes and we did a ghost adventures little excerpt that got recorded It was really funny But as we're laughing our K2s would just light up like crazy and it was it was really fun and like they were laughing at you Yeah, they liked us when we would tell jokes and things so we try to pull up some jokes and I mean He enjoyed it when we were laughing not just like cheesy little laffy-taffy jokes But we also were having a really good time and singing a lot that night and the next night when we were together And we were in that same basement with what we think was the gambler he the words were coming up on his own Oculus typing Obulus no Oculus I know they're so close. I have to really think about it, but they kept saying seeing I'm like oh they remembered us from last night So that was kind of fun that we got to go twice and I feel like I think the ghost remembered us Absolutely, that's crazy what they remember I did It reminded me of Madeline on a few I mean Ray remembers Madeline remembers Raven But the K2s while laughing I didn't think about it until later is like I wonder if somebody showed up Here because that's kind of how a ghost that we uncovered in P.O. Which would only they wouldn't talk directly to any of us But if we had a conversation it would use the K2 meters to express its interest or lack better of and what we were talking About at the table and that's it we got a few questions into it, but yeah, and we just know that Madeline really doesn't like Raven So yeah, no, I'm when we were downstairs doing the estas method we did ask if Lucy remembered Castle because Castle's the one that gave her that name and the answer was yes and Did she like Castle the answer was yes, but I think it was sarcastic and when I asked if I should go get him and bring him there The answer was a no, so that was kind of fun Well if you want to join us on what these investigations or you want to be prepared for one check out advanced pair normal calm And our YouTube our TikTok our Instagram you can go throw in advance pair normal and find out which of us are tour guides You know where we're starting we're starting to kind of develop a little bit of a content plan here So make sure you follow us on social media if you haven't yet So when we talk about anything whether it's an investigation we've been on whether it's what we're going to do whether it's something in the jungle you'll hear the terms ghost hunt and ghost investigation and for the longest time I thought that they were just interchangeable and I thought hunt was just maybe a little more you know relax investigation was a little more professional You know when you're talking to your friends and go to your neighbor I'm going to go to the investigation, but there's actually a difference Do you guys know the difference is I heard of this ghost I Mean I personally try to correct people when they call me a ghost hunter and so I'm a paranormal investigator because it sounds like I don't just look for ghost Right well, technically whether you use the word paranormal ghost supernatural doesn't matter the difference between a hunt and an investigation I hope I get this right an investigation is when you Go to someplace that you know is haunted you have had experiences there before and you're going to investigate What you might find that time so for example when we went to the family tree that would have been a ghost or paranormal Investigation because we've been there before we know it's haunted I mean think of a think of a crime scene crime scene investigation You know that a crime happened there you're going to go and try to get evidence right a ghost hunt Would be some place you've never investigated before and you're literally hunting for ghosts You're looking for something you don't know if it's there or not So we may be having a ghost hunt coming up pretty quickly at that old building that we found in Spanish work that we're trying to investigate A hunt there because we've never investigated there before yes So hunt is you're looking for ghosts an investigation you're looking for evidence and once you're hunted the ghosts You can find evidence, but yeah, hunt you've never been there before you have no clue That's actually haunted or not investigation You know it's haunted you're just trying to get more proof So this building that we're trying to get into and are working with the the people that's one of the people I've got phone calls out to and I've talked to the management already, but we're just trying to work out the details That's one of the ones we're looking for upcoming and it's gonna be really neat It'll be cool.

Yeah, so what is a ghost investigation for our group could be a hunt for another group and vice versa So it just depends on if you can Interesting Stay spooky my hontie friends. Hey have good night.
