Alicia Blue: Inner Child Work Track-by-Track Special Episode

from Jrodconcerts: The Podcast · host Jamie A Rodriguez

In  a special episode of Jrodconcerts: The Podcast LIVE,  Jamie  Rodriguez is joined by our friend Alicia Blue, recently named one of  American Songwriter's "16 Artists to Watch in 2023 for a track-by-track  analysis of Inner Child Work. Pt. 1 is out now, and Pt. 2 arrives March 3. An expansive and gorgeous musical project, Inner Child Work is a wonderful  musical project that follows  themes of self-awareness, new beginnings and drastic changes in life's directions. Alicia found herself working with Nashville-based songwriter and producer Lincoln Parish, (originally of the band Cage the Elephant), who helped to provide a solid musical foundation for her songs so she could focus on doing her best and most creative writing work to date. Recording in Nashville also gave Alicia a perspective on her life in Los Angeles. Having been born and raised in Southern California, and never having left the city, not even for college, she began to see in hindsight how much personal turmoil she had navigated through her years there, she then decided to move her life to Nashville to find herself where she has been an instant favorite for the music community, fans and critics alike.
