Alicia Contreras: Everyone Recovers Differently

Alicia is a Crossroads employee and case manager at Crossroads West. Christin and Alicia discuss how not everyone recovers the same. Alicia used MAT services (Medically Assisted Treatment), such as Suboxone, to get her back on the straight and arrow. However, she is a strong advocate of a well-rounded treatment, using such modalities as therapy, 12 step programs, Reiki, MATs, Etc. Alicia is now watching as all “The Promises” of the 12 step program are materializing in her life as she grows in her recovery.
