Alien (1979)

Welcome to Movie Time Machine, where this week in 1979, your hosts are responding to a distress call. Our frequencies have picked up an S.O.S. signal, and the MTM crew responds while trying to keep their rib cages intact. Join us as we explore Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic, and reminisce on why this film endures as a masterpiece. We also wanted to acknowledge the passing of Yaphet Kotto, aka “Parker”, and celebrate his talent in this film and beyond. His smile was infectious, and his presence dominated the screen in each of his performances. Rest in peace, and thank you for all of the memories.  Music: Cliff Side by Silent Partner Space Navigator by Sarah the Instrumentalist  Find us on: Twitter Facebook YouTube
