Alien 2024- Does It Hold Up To The Films? (Specifically The Good Ones)

In this weeks episode, Ryan makes Jamie read the 2024 limited comic book series, Alien. Written by Declan Shalvey, with art by Andrea Broccardo & Declan Shalvey, and colour by Ruth Redmond & Declan Shalvey. They also go on tangents like Ryan badly explaining the Alien franchise, when The Simpsons was good, how good Hamilton is, debating the best Star Wars films, and Jamie's love of 80's technology like Betamax and electric typewriters. Timecodes00:00 - Intro02:28 - Ryan badly explaining the Alien franchise12:08 - Comic credits15:16 - Starting with the Arting19:53 - 25:32 - Fox, The Simpsons and Hamilton25:32 - Back to the comic31:32 - Story with spoilers1:00:20 - Debating the best Star Wars films1:03:56 - Jamie's love of 80's technology1:07:40 - OutroYouTube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_2GA9q40JoBmnbOrkjGuJg Apple Podcasts- https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-comic-literate-podcast/id1670647884 Spotify- https://open.spotify.com/show/4hd5lO43gSZyyh5UEmcq2U?si=NOE0uX4iRHWGDwIoCRfndQ Google Podcasts- https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy50cmFuc2lzdG9yLmZtL3RoZS1jb21pYy1saXRlcmF0ZS1wb2RjYXN0Pocket Casts- https://pca.st/r8b1cyg7
