What this episode covers
Welcome to the immortality race! The new kid on the block, Prodigy is experimenting with downloading consciousness into Synth brains and they’ve had their first signups with Wendy and the Lost Boys. But, when a Weyland Yutani science vessel crashes into Prodigy’s city with a bunch of scary monsters on board, it’s up to these kids to keep a handle on the situation, and maybe protect the ones they love at the same time! Join Couch Soup contributors Iain McParland, and Katie for Watching Now: Alien Earth, discussing the episode’s ups and downs. Does it differentiate itself enough from Alien? Why does Timothy Olyphant look so weird? And, is the Xenomorph scary again? And, why all the Ice Age and Peter Pan references?!
