Alien: Romulus (2024) — "If you don't stay quiet, we all die."

Fede Álvarez takes the Alien franchise back to basics: a group of young colonists, a derelict space station and a xenomorph with nothing but time. Set between Alien and Aliens, Romulus stars Cailee Spaeny as Rain and David Jonsson as Andy, her android brother, and it's packed with nods to the franchise's past, for better and for worse. We talk facehuggers, fan service, and the most talked-about cameo of the year. Chris Stachiw, the Doctor of Podcasting, digs into Fede Álvarez, the xenomorph, fan service, and so much more.
