Aliens (1986)

from Trilogy in Theory

In which we praise sequels... the few that are good. We kick off a new month of a TRILOGY IN THEORY by starting in the middle of the story, specifically with James Cameron's ALIENS. Taking over for Ridley Scott (something we decree to happen again! thank you, ALIEN: COVENANT box-office...) this time we find Ripley as the woman in the room who knows more than the men making decisions... and look what good that does her. Along the way one host wonders if this is the film that made his decision on parenthood (it stinks!) and the other host (who made the mistake of procreating) swears that there is still time in the day for DVD special features. No one believes him.
