Aligning Head, Heart, and Hands
What does it really mean to live out our faith from the inside out? This message digs into one of the most honest tensions in the Christian life: the gap between what we know, what we feel, and what we actually do. Drawing from Ephesians 4 and 5, we explore Paul's call to align our head, heart, and hands so that our thinking, our desires, and our actions all point in the same direction. It sounds simple, but as we all know, the heart has a way of complicating things. Paul identifies greed, impurity, and immorality not just as behavioral problems but as heart postures, forms of idolatry that place our wants above what God desires for us. The challenge laid before us is not merely to do the right things, but to want the right things, to let the Spirit reshape our desires until they reflect the character of Christ. This is the kind of spiritual maturity that does not happen by accident. It takes honest self-examination, real community, and a willingness to sweat through the hard work of becoming more like Jesus.
