Alison and Nick of 528 Live

from So The Story Goes with Brian Chartrand

Alison and Nick, co-creators of 528 Live, stop by for a little chat. For those unfamiliar, 528 Live was a concert series that took place in downtown Phoenix in response to the shut down of basically all live music in March 2020. They opened up their front porch and their hearts to their neighborhood and live music community and presented 33, covid responsible/outdoor live performances until they were abruptly shut down by the police. We talk music, life, and the fateful night they were fined and shut down (for what, exactly, we are still scratching our heads). We reminisce about the lovely shows they hosted (I am a proud performer in this series) and share hopes for 528's return. For more information, find them on www.instragram.com/528live
