Alissa is a survivor and advocate against sexual and gender based violence.Alissa holds a Master's degree in Child and Family Studies with a specialization in Child Development. She is a child advocate, social justice advocate and trauma-informed counselor, passionate about helping others heal and thrive. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, Alissa openly shares her story and the challenges that come with living with PTSD.
