All About Dogs Who Dance & Inspired a Memoir

In the newest episode of The Story of My Pet Podcast you'll meet my guest Joyce A. Miller. Joyce adopted six racing greyhounds over the past twenty years and danced with several of them. Miller lives in the Church Hill section of Richmond, Virginia with her husband and her latest retired racing greyhound. Before she started writing, Miller worked for over 30 years as a mechanical designer at a nuclear physics laboratory. When she is not writing, Miller can be found dog-training, drinking wine, painting, practicing yoga, traveling with her French physicist friends, tap dancing, or volunteering with her greyhound adoption group, not necessarily in that order. You can learn more about Joyce and follow her on social at the links below.www.joyceamiller.comhttps://www.facebook.com/joyce.miller.1804https://www.instagram.com/joyceamillerwriter/The Organizations we discussed in the episode include the James River Greyhounds and their sister facility Greyt Love Retirement are Richmond, VA-based organizations dedicated to finding forever homes for retired racing greyhounds and helping them to transition into those homes.  You can follow them at the links below.https://www.jamesrivergreyhounds.org/https://www.greytloveretirement.org/https://www.facebook.com/JamesRiverGreyhoundshttps://www.facebook.com/GreytLoveRetirement Support the showSupport the Podcast by Buying Us a Treat via Buy Me a CoffeeShop our Affiliate Partners:🐾 Shop Mikko's Choice Use code 'storyofmypet' for 15% off🐾 Shop Superior Feline Use code “storyofmypet” for 15% off🐾 Shop Nuvita CBD for people Use code 'Julie10' for 10% offLoved this episode?
