In our Access Economy segment we have been looking at what popular share companies have done (or not done) to make their services accessible to their disabled customers. In part 2 of our Access Economy segment we look at accessibility in ride-share companies. With talk of Uber coming to the Lower Mainland we chat with MLA Stephanie Cadieux .Stephanie Cadieux is the Liberal MLA for Surrey South and the Opposition Critic for Advanced Education serving in the BC legislative assembly . Cadieux also has a disability herself and is in a wheelchair . In fact, she is the first women in a wheelchair to serves as cabinet minister and for BC parliament . In the past she has worked for the BC Paraplegic Association (now SCI-BC) as director of marketing and development, as manager of accessibility for 2010 Legacies Now, and has been president of Realwheels Society.
