from Potkaars - talks with everyone · host Potkaars
Professor of international law and human right expert Alfred de Zayas comments on the media censorship happening right now in the US. It's not just freedom of speech that's being censored, it's also the right to be informed. In this interview we discuss last weeks verdict in the extradition case of Julian Assange, and the denial of bail. Not just free speech but the rule of law appears broken both in the US and UK. In the second half of this interview we discuss a new law effective immediately in the Netherlands and how the state is being taken to court about it. Dutch citizens aren't allowed to board a flight home unless they present a negative PCR test result before boarding. Effectively that means you're stranded if not exiled in certain countries, moreover that you've lost your basic human right to not have to submit to said medical procedure. De Zayas is a returning guest to Podkaars.
