All Floridians can benefit from the high-quality career and technical programs at state colleges
For the past five years, Florida’s higher-education system has been ranked number-one in the nation—by “U-S News and World Report”. And, during “Florida College System Month”, in April, the state’s “Department of Education” is reminding Floridians about the high-quality programs that are available through state-colleges. Kathy Hebda [“hebb-dah”] is the “Florida College System’s” chancellor… “Our 28 institutions provide world-class, affordable programs that give all Floridians real access to success. These include short-term, in-demand programs that can help adults launch a career—or make a change quickly. And, what’s more, our short-term programs stack into other credentials—so that every time students come back to the college, they will continue to build on their knowledge, skills, and experience, throughout their entire career. Because our programs are in high demand by both students and employers—and are tailored to fit the schedules of working adults—our students get to work, or can get promoted, faster and more affordably.” There are hundreds of career- and technical-programs available throughout Florida; to find one that’s near you, visit “get-there-f-l”-dot-com.
