All For The Glory - John 17:1-5
from Chris Stuart - Tyndale’s Plowboy Hosted by cstpb
The central message of this sermon is that glory is not about external recognition or achievement, but rather it is about significance, importance, and worth derived from one's inherent value and relationship with God. The speaker argues that God alone has inherent glory, and everything else in the universe derives its significance from Him. This understanding of glory is contrasted with human attempts to attain significance apart from God, which is seen as the essence of sin. The sermon suggests that true glory is not something that can be earned or achieved through external means, but rather it is a recognition of one's inherent value and worth in relation to God.
