Member states of the International Energy Agency (IEA) agreed to release 60 million barrels of oil from their emergency reserves in an attempt to calm energy markets thrown into turmoil by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Netflix is the latest tech company to take a side in the Ukrainian-Russian war, opening up a Pandora’s box of questions around the ethics of censorship during the conflict, as they defy Russian regulators.
