All In: Stewardship of Spiritual Gifts

Date: 081119 Passage: 1 Corinthians 12 Spiritual Gifts is a way of SERVING! o Spiritual Gifts is an ability given by God to build up the body of Christ. NOT TALENT o Prophetic/Priestly/Kingly-all gifts categorized into these (only together do you fully represent God) · Spiritual Gifts are Not Fruit—you can have the gift but your fruits your spirit can be horrible. o Careful not to do gift cop out—just cause I don’t’ have it I shouldn’t do it o Gift projection-you think you might not be so good cause you don’t have a certain gift that someone else has. Or assume the rest of the church should all be able to do your gift. · So if you are good stewards of your gifts and exercised within a community—the world sees Jesus fully. ALL IN - (A life of Stewardship) Goal: A series design to teach our people to be game changers through cultivating and growing the everyday experiences and things of our lives (i.e. work, money, time etc).
