All Israel Will Be Saved
from Entrenched In The Truth Hosted by Pastor, Kevin Cox
There is a sentence in Romans 11 that people have argued over for two thousand years: “And in this way all Israel will be saved.” In this third message of The Ancient Promise, Pastor Kevin Cox takes that sentence apart one phrase at a time — the mystery Paul discloses, the partial hardening that has come upon Israel, the fullness of the Gentiles, and the Deliverer who comes from Zion. It is a study that begins in careful exposition and ends, as Paul himself ends, on the floor in worship. Text: Romans 11:25–36 Key Verse: “And in this way all Israel will be saved.” — Romans 11:26 (ESV) In this message: What Paul means by “mystery” — a secret you could never deduce, only receive. The Greek behind “partial hardening,” and why “in part” and “until” change everything. Three historic answers to the question “Who is all Israel?” — and where the text lands. Why “in this way” tells us how Israel is saved, not merely when. The Deliverer from Zion, and the doxology Paul falls into when the argument is over.
