Though he did not yet see Christ by name, the Spirit’s testimony in Job points forward to the risen Savior we now know.Spurgeon reminds us that our hope is not in shifting feelings, but in a living Redeemer. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully Man; has died, risen, and ever lives to intercede for His people. Because He lives, we can face every trial with confidence, and know that He will raise us up on the last day.
