On this episode of the Nine Finger Chronicles, Dan talks with the former CEO of the Quality Deer Management Association, now the National Deer Association. Brian talks about the birth of the QDMA and the struggles he faced while growing the conservation organization. He discusses how QDMA slowly started to gain traction and their membership started to grow throughout the years. One of the struggles that Brian had to deal with was the lack of interest from Hunting Celebrities, Social Media Influencers, and even companies within the hunting space when asked to participate in conservation events or simply use their platform to spread their message. Now on the other side of the isle, Brian is working with HuntStand as their Director of Conservation and their conservation partners like Delta Waterfowl and National Wild Turkey Federation.
