All things Endodontics with Dr. Mehdi Rahimi and Dr. Mark Johnstone

from Noobie Dentist Podcast · host Omid Azami DDS

In this week’s episode I had the great opportunity to sit down with two of Australia’s premier endodontists Dr. Mehdi Rahimi and Dr. Mark Johnstone.  Dr. Mehdi Rahimi is an endodontist based in Sydney, Australia. He is an adjunct associate professor at Charles Sturt University and is involved in endodontic continuing professional development teaching at various levels both throughout Australia and abroad. Dr. Mark Johnstone is an endodontist based in Melbourne and is also involved in teaching in continuing professional development courses and just recently completed his Masters of Health and Medical Law at the University of Melbourne. Mark was completing his endo post grad while I was a dental student at Melbourne Dental school so he was also one of my endo demonstrators in dental school. In this interview we cover a lot of great topics including importance of mentors, whether or not to specialize in endodontics in 2019, emerging trends in endodontics, staying out of trouble with a solid informed consent process and much more. This episode is brought to by Henry Schein Australia.
