All Things Legion – Catherine Labouré and the Miraculous Medal – Mary Stenson and Dymphna Sheehan

Mary Stenson opens All Things Legion with Fr Colm Manion's account of Frank Duff's vision of an apostolate that refuses to settle for being a mere chaplaincy, then returns to Catherine Labouré's growing frustration as her confessor doubts her visions of Our Lady and the medal she has been told to have struck. The show closes with a tribute to Fr Des Broderick, the Legion's spiritual director in Scotland for thirty years, who died just days short of his hundredth birthday.
