Mary Stenson goes back to Fr Thomas O'Flynn's life of Frank Duff for a chapter on where Duff's spirituality came from: a man who read a book on the dangers of mystical experience and then prayed, with absolute fervour, that nothing of the kind would ever come his way. The discovery of de Montfort happened on a trip to Mount Melleray with a friend who drank, and the Legion itself began on the eve of Our Lady's birthday in 1921 with fifteen young women in Myra House. The second half is a recording of Venerable Fulton Sheen on parents whose children have left the Church, and on the difference between speaking to your children about God and speaking to God about your children.
