All You Need Is Love - Audio

In this sermon for the Sixth Sunday of Easter, Pastor Chris explores the command that Jesus left for his followers: love one another as I have loved you. This command to love, is rooted in the Hebrew Bible, where God tells his people in Deuteronomy 6 to love him by keeping his commandments. The Apostle John, his is letter 1 John 5, gives similar advice. In both of these passages, God's people are called to love God by keeping his commandments. It's Jesus in John 15, who makes the connection of keeping God's commandments by loving others. Jesus goes even further by defining love in terms of self-sacrifice. In this sermon, you will be challenged to live a life of love, and you will learn that by joining Jesus on his way of love, you are joining him in make the world whole again.
