Allie Zealand on running 4:30 in the mile, committing to Liberty University, her faith and more

from Running In Circles · host Zach Hamilton

Today on the podcast I’m joined by Allie Zealand! She’s been on a tear this post season as she ran 4:30 in the mile at Hoka Festival of miles to become the 2nd fastest high school miler outdoors ever and then she ran 9:41 in the 2 mile at Brooks PR in order to become 2nd on that all time list. She’s headed to Liberty University in the fall where she will continue her academic and running career. On this episode we discuss her life being home schooled while running in high school, how Faith plays a role in her running, how it felt to break a national record and more. If you enjoy the episode please share it with a friend or two and leave a five star review wherever you listen!
