Allowing Yourself To Be A Beginner

from This Daring Adventure

Being a beginner is an important part of the process of being a human being. We startedlearning at the beginning of our lives. We learn how to walk, talk, ride a bicycle, read, playbasketball, and do everything in our lives. We also start out as beginners from time to time, but once we reach adulthood, we get to the peak, and we’re not as exposed to theopportunities to learn and take on new things as before. We all have unlimited capacity, butmost of us don’t try and find what we’re capable of. We settle for our current abilities, whatwe’ve already learned, and the limits we create for ourselvese stop growing.Finding out what our capacity is and what is possible is all about knowing that we’re meantfor more. Sometimes, we know this but don’t act on it because we fear being uncomfortableand vulnerable. The desire to grow and evolve is in our DNA. We just need to protect it,nurture it and not let it be drowned out by the distractions that can come in life. Moving tothe next level is our natural progression. It’s our purpose, and we’re here to discover ourpotential, make things happen and create the life we desire. In today’s episode, I share insight on the importance of allowing yourself to be a beginnerand how you can go about doing that.
