Korte geschiedenis Lutheranen in Almere De geschiedenis van de lutheranen in de jonge provincie Flevoland begon met kerkdiensten eens per veertien dagen in Almere Haven. In 1991 kwam er een kerkenraad voor de gehele provincie: de Evangelisch-Lutherse Gemeente in Flevoland. In 1994 werd het principebesluit genomen om samen te trekken met de hervormden en gereformeerden in Almere Stad Oost. De lutherse identiteit kreeg een plek binnen wisselende locaties; van een lokaal in een school tot de aula van een scholengemeenschap. Een mijlpaal was de bouw van kerkcentrum De Triangel in 1999. De naam van dit markante, driehoekige gebouw van architect Kees Bos symboliseerde de eenheid tussen de drie kerkstromingen. De eenentwintigste eeuw bracht echter nieuwe verschuivingen door veranderende wijkgrenzen en vastgoedkeuzes. Na een tijdelijke terugkeer naar Almere Haven en het sluiten van De Triangel in 2012, vond de lutherse gemeenschap uiteindelijk een bestendig thuis in De Drieklank in Almere Buiten. Hoewel de lutherse gemeente in 2019 officieel opging in de Protestantse Gemeente Almere, blijft het lutherse gedachtegoed en erfgoed in De Drieklank aanwezig. Rianne Veenstra was gemeentepredikant van De Drieklank en Luthers Flevoland en is momenteel justitiepredikant, uitgezonden door De Drieklank om het ambtswerk als dominee in de gevangenis te verrichten.
