Almost, But Not Yet

When you look around right now, you'll see a lot of frustration, a lot of anger and division, because what people are trying to put their weight on just isn’t working. And when what we are putting our weight on does not work - people become angry or discouraged or disillusioned.  The question that we have to wrestle with in the midst of all of this. It is, “Do I really believe in Jesus? Am I really going to put my weight on Him?”Even though this world is very broken, as a church, we are going to put all of our weight on the transformative power of the Gospel, because Jesus is the One who changes hearts. He is the one that promises us that we are almost there, but not quite yet.
