Almost Happily Ever After

Share a commentWhat does “happily ever after” really look like for someone who has suffered deep loss? In the final verses of the book of Job, we watch God restore Job’s life in surprising and beautiful ways—but we’re reminded that restoration doesn’t erase grief. Stephen Davey walks you through Job 42 and shows how Job’s story ends, not with perfect circumstances, but with profound faith and healing.God publicly defends Job’s character, rebukes his arrogant counselors, and restores his health, wealth, and family. Yet this isn’t a fairy tale—it’s real life. Job will never forget the pain he endured or the children he lost. But he also experiences the grace of God in new ways, finding deeper joy, fuller forgiveness, and richer fellowship with his family—and with his Creator. You’ll learn why Job’s story matters, not just for ancient history, but for your life today. Through one man’s final chapter, you’ll be reminded that even when God seems silent, He’s never absent. He walks with you—through the fire, through the silence, and all the way to the other side.Learn more about twenty-five years of global impact, and reserve tickets to our gala. https://www.wisdomonline.org/mp/25 Learn more at https://www.wisdomonline.org/Support the show
