Alouettes Lock In Leadership for Future | Calgary News

The Montreal Alouettes just locked in their future with big contract extensions for GM Danny Maciocia and head coach Jason Maas, setting the stage for continued dominance. Since Maciocia returned in 2020 and Maas joined as head coach in late 2022, the team has transformed — winning the Grey Cup last year and currently boasting the CFL’s best record at 9-2. Together, they’ve built a powerhouse with a 42-22-1 regular-season record since taking over, and Maas is just one win away from tying Marv Levy’s franchise record. Maciocia praised Maas’s leadership and culture-building, signaling confidence in their path forward as they prepare to face the B.C. Lions this Friday.
