A view of love that does not include sacrifice cannot fathom the depth of God’s love. In the kingdom of God, it’s impossible to love without sacrifice. In the belief system of baal worship, sacrifice is something we do to get something in return. It is self-serving. We trade something we value in exchange for something we value more. In the kingdom, sacrifice comes from a foundation of covenant partnership. It is giving something costly in order to bring value to someone else without the expectation of an exchange.

After completing his Arabic diploma, he graduated from the Faculty of Shari’ah in 2006 with honours. He obtained ijazah in the Qur’an as well as studied under a number of well known scholars, such as Sh. Abdul Muhsin al-Abbad and Sh. Muhammad ibn Muhammad Mukhtar al-Shinqiti. Shaykh Ahsan also recently completed his PhD in Islamic Law from the University of Birmingham. Didaché Justin Peters Didaché is the Greek word for teaching or doctrine. All Christians profess to love Jesus but few seem to have a passion for doctrine and theology. The Didaché podcast is dedicated to teaching sound doctrine and theology for it is by this that our knowledge of God is deepened which, in turn, enables our love for God to be deepened. The Bible says, "And this I pray, that your love would abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment" (Philippians 1:9).This podcast will discuss doctrine, theology, hermeneutics, and how to apply all of these disciplines so that we can live lives obedient to God's word and for His glory. We will see how, far from being boring, there is nothing more exciting and practical for the Christian than to both know and apply sound doctrine.
