It is no secret that the system of medical care in this country is broken.  Human contact, yes even friendship, between a doctor and his/her patients is a thing of the past.  Insurance companies run the way medicine is practiced, and that is not a good thing.   In this episode I talk with two doctors who gave up on the system.  Both opened their own practices, practicing holistic preventive and restorative medicine.  Both believe in treating the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.  I hope this is the way of the future.
