Alyse Madej (Miss Michigan) Interview

Gio sits down with Alyse Madej and she shares her story how she battled suicide/mental health and overcame it and now is an inspiration in her home state by becoming Miss Michigan after seven years of competing. She has also started he own initiative called "Teach Kindness" where she goes to elementary schools in Michigan and talks to students about reading and being more literate. After finding out her home state had one of the lowest literacy rates in America.  It was great to have her own and listen to her story as she will now be competing for Miss USA in a few weeks.
