Alyssa Edwards

We’re kicking off our Season 2 premiere with the legendary Alyssa Edwards (aka Justin Johnson), the first winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All-Stars and the star of Netflix’s Dancing Queen! Join us as Justin dives into the transition from a shy kid in Mesquite, Texas, to a global drag superstar. He shares about his Beyond Belief Dance Company and an inside look at the “get ready” room…filled with show-stopping ensembles! Justin discusses his journey of becoming unapologetically himself, including the journey of his relationship with his father. We also reflect on the evolution of drag from underground nightclubs to mainstream success, and about his experience competing on The GOAT. We hear why he chose to stay in Texas to be a mentor and leader for "little Justins" who need a safe place to stand out. Don't miss this episode, as we start our new season with a true icon!
