Am I Doing This Right?

Pastor Tony's message emphasized that before Jesus gave us the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20), He first gave us the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40), making love the foundation for our mission. We cannot effectively make disciples if we do not first love God with all our heart, soul, and mind and love our neighbors as ourselves—even when they are difficult to love. Love is not just a feeling but a decision that leads to action, as described in 1 Corinthians 13. True love is patient, kind, selfless, and enduring, while it rejects envy, pride, resentment, and selfishness. When we embody Christ’s love, we fulfill His calling, because love believes, hopes, endures, and ultimately, love never fails.
