In the dead of night, as people sleep, that's when the spirits creep. As the bell tolls three, dark things take power. We like to call it the supernatural hour. I am Deann.
Lurch is Deann. Good morning, everybody. And welcome to... It might be morning.
It could be evening. Hello! Oh, no, it's good morning. This is the fun of a podcast.
We don't... We don't know when you're listening. Are we recording? We're recording.
I don't have a headphone. I'll put them on. Can't lift it. You know, it's funny because...
I'm joking, man. Who was it? Michelle Newman called me the other day. Her message to me the other day.
She's like, are you still in the group? I was like, yeah, I'm just busy with school. How good? I thought that they'd kick the others up.
I kicked the ass out, Michelle. He just messes up yesterday. Yes, I still am. I just...
I just... I just... I'm like, how'd he go? He just keeps showing up.
Been so busy with school and it starts up again tomorrow. So I go back into the rabbit hole for a few months. Tell me my shadow. So welcome to Supernatural Hour.
I'm your host, Castle. To my right, we have the ever-elusive Lurch. What's up? We've got...
Beaker, A.K.A. Tim. What's happening? And we have Peaches.
Hello! Deann got lost. We don't know where Deann is at. We got lost in a K-hole.
Deann is missing. Which means if you're in recent investigation to your favorite part of the podcast, we're not having it. We might not have it tonight. I am Deann.
I have not done any investigations since our last podcast. We kind of took a break for the last couple months. At least publicly anyways. We still did some residential.
Did you guys talk about the four-drugless investigation? You probably did that like two months ago. Yeah, two months ago when we did the investigation. We were saving it for you.
I've been out of the loop for a little bit. Just a little bit. We've changed the whole format of the show since you've been gone. You know, we moved on from Ghost.
We're straight into just aliens now. We're not just a paranormal podcast. We're a supernatural podcast. We cover everything including cryptozoology, which we haven't really dived into yet at all.
At all. At all. We've done vampires and we've done Jack the Ripper and Alex DiCralia. Miss DiCralia.
You know what? We could have used that for the next time. We did say that for the next time. We did say that for the next time.
Yeah. Welcome. This will be our first new show of 2019. And with a smaller group.
Thank God. I was worried I was going to be our first old show. It's the first show of 2020. It's funny you say that.
It's funny you say that because it actually is going to be an old show. We're done. I know. I guess he chose the topic.
It's totally me. So here's the plan for tonight. Many, many moons ago, three to four years ago, when we first started this podcast as the Wisps Show, we talked about signs that you may have a spirit in your home and we're going to kind of back and revisit that. Well, you know, we've learned a lot as a team in the last four to five years since we did this.
I guess four years since we did the last episode. We've also learned a lot as podcasters. And it's good to go back and revisit these things that we can look back and be like, oh gosh, I totally do that differently now. And in four years, we're going to redo this exact same episode because we're going to run out of stuff to talk about.
No, we won't. We'll be fine. We've got quite the laundry list of topics for 2019. So it's just fine.
It is good to go back and redo some of these older episodes, especially when you listen to the sound quality of those early podcasters. Oh, man. It was a castle with his laptop fan. It was like, what the hell is going on?
What is that sound in the background? I think this episode was actually done before Peaches and I actually joined the show. This was back in a Heffet-based. In Heffet-based basement.
Right with the rim shot keyboard. Oh, geez. We showed up here in the house. What's twice, but we weren't like regulars on the show at that point.
How'd it get down? Before we get out. No, please don't. He started it.
No, I did. I did. No, the castle did. No, but I made it annoying for everyone.
Before we get out too far into that topic, however, not getting down topic, but the ghosts and the house. Down, down, down. How about you now? Let's take care of some business.
Tim. Bigger business. Alrighty. We've got two sold out events that we've talked about for the last couple months and we're actually finally doing them now.
We're doing our family training investigations. So we will have some previous investigations to talk about for you on our next episode for sure. But more importantly, we finally got our tickets on sale for our 100th episode. Yeah.
I don't know who is lazy getting those things up. I have no idea. I have no idea who received two or three text messages from me before they finally got that up and running. You know, in castles, I've got three guesses in the first Teto account.
I say in my defense, and I'm going to speak about myself in third person here. Castle was busy enjoying Christmas holiday and eating many sugary chocolatey foods and sitting around watching a lot of British Bake Off. I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sad violin music. You got some cheese with that wine?
I know, right? That sounds like an awesome Christmas. Hey, you know what? I was doing all the same things while working 60 hours a week and I still had time to remind you to put the tickets up on for sale.
You know, a great British Bake Off. It's a lot of really strange food like oyster and ox cheek pie. All rolled together with bad teeth. Are you talking about yourself again?
That sounds like a train wreck. You just can't let you in. Ox cheeks are delicious. Ox cheeks are delicious.
You're too. You're too. And we're offended by things we have to get rid of them. Exactly.
That's the rule of America. Please, no. So to get back to what we were talking about our hundredth episode, we will be doing a special recording live-ish at the Family Tree restaurant. We won't be airing it live, but we will have live studio audience.
Which is hopefully you guys, the people listening to our words coming out of our mouths. Do we have fans? Like three. Oh, wow.
I have a ceiling fan. Your mom's my fan. But I'm bummed. Your mom's my biggest fan.
She bought my shirt for me the other day. That wasn't funny. No. Just broke the pocket.
That's what we call pulling a jerry. If you knew who Jared was, you'd understand. I used to have this friend that we would tell a joke and he would run it into the ground. He would just get bigger.
My mom died from running it into the ground. I just want to start the whole show. I was coming up in your neighborhood the other day. I drove past a galaxy.
Galaxy Drive. Creepy drive. So anyways, I thought of you. If you're a bird.
Hey, no problem. I'm so glad you're here. I know me too. It's going to take like 20 minutes to get through this one topic.
Take it on, tell. Go buy them now. We've got two ticket prices. One is our $15 price.
With that one, what that gets you is we'll buy you scones in a soda. No alcohol because we don't like alcohol. And by we, I mean, castle. Let me rephrase that.
It's not so much. If you choose to drink, I don't care. We just don't want you drinking and investigating. Just don't be sloppy drunk either.
That's all. If you want to buy alcohol, that'll be on your own. We will provide scones in soda. And that's just for the people that want to just participate in the podcast if you're investigating.
No alcohol or we will ask you to leave the menu. Just not safe. But yeah, if you're just buying the cheap ticket price at $15, we don't have a drink. That's fine.
We just don't want people getting sloppy drunk. That's not what we do. But yeah, $15, you'll get the soda, the scone. And then we will also have some microphones set up for you to come and ask us questions.
We're going to do kind of an ask me anything type of thing. So anything paranormal related that you want to ask us, how we got into the paranormal or opinions on things, just whatever. If there's anything that we haven't talked about on the show that you've been dying to ask us, you can actually be on the podcast itself and ask us those questions. Now, for the $40 ticket price, we normally charge $50 for this, but we're reducing the price for this special event.
That will get you everything the $15 price gets, the drinks, the scones, the participation podcast. But it will also get you a dinner and investigation after the restaurant closes. Now, this investigation isn't going to be like our typical investigation where 16 random strangers show up and we give you a lecture and we assign you to groups and we lead you and guide you and walk beside you. This is going to be basically where you're going to investigate.
You're going to be there, you can investigate if you want to investigate with us. Great. If you want to investigate on your own, great. It's going to be kind of a free for all investigation.
Again, this is for our fans and people who listen to the show. We're there having a good time. I want to investigate with us, then great. But really our host.
This could be one big group of 20 people. Everyone's going to be in the basement. I know, right? Lucie, which will be fine because I'll be by myself over in the restaurant part investigating.
Hey, lurch, antagonize the demons so that we'll see some activity. Hey, that was your idea. The only thing with this thing is we are hoping that we can just show up, set up our recording equipment and you guys are going to make a great episode for us. We're not going to bring any notes.
We're not going to bring any set lists per se. We are just going to show up and say, what's up. Hopefully you guys are going to jump in and ask questions. We'll answer questions and hopefully lead to an interesting discussion.
If you don't ask questions, Castle Lurch and I are going to share with each other. Oh, songs. We did that two episodes ago and I don't know if that went well or poorly. You know what?
I got a lot of positive feedback. People tell me how awesome it is that you can make up shit on the spot just like that. They didn't say you're singing was good. They just thought that you're at the magic music skills.
Those were both completely on the fly. Completely on the fly. That song made me want to die. You just keep running it right into the ground.
Don't you? I'm here to kill things. He's back in. Do we have any other business?
Not at this time. No. We have someone prepared today. We haven't discussed it yet, but we may add additional seats for the $15 tickets.
We want to keep the group small for the investigation obviously because we don't want to overbook the investigation. Depending on what the venue can actually reasonably seat, we may open the $15 ticket numbers up from what we currently have. Because we do want a good audience. We want people to be able to participate.
And again, the $15 isn't because we're trying to make any kind of profit. That's just basically the number. That's the cost of the scones. Yeah, and the goodies.
That's for the meet and greet and stuff beforehand. So you can listen to us record and have some scones and stuff. But how many tickets are available for the actual investigation later? We cap it at 16.
That's about what that venue can comfortably hold. The bar gets too crowded. I might talk you down a little bit to maybe like 10 or 12. We can do that.
With us too. That would probably put us at about 20 if we had 16. That's usually where we're at. So I think that'll be.
Being this is a special event. I might want to limit those numbers just a little bit for the investigation just to make it even more special. You tell me you're the boss of a ticket. I'll say I'm not a ticket.
The master of paranormal stuff. That's Tim's official new title. Master of paranormal stuff. You know that's fun, right?
No. It's Wild Wild West when Jim West calls the other guy the master of mechanical stuff. Yeah, I'm not seeing that show. Oh, come on.
It's so funny. I only watch good movies. I don't know what they're saying. I mean, it's not like an outstanding movie, but...
It's not a Will Smith movie. Oh yeah. All the little movies are lame as shit. They don't have some funny one-liners.
You know, he did a couple good ones. Chris Klein was the other one. So he's actually funny. So he's actually funny.
So speaking of lame one-liners, Tim, Stone of the Week. I can stone you, Carl's jade, Kyle's Corey. Come on. If you're going to try to, never mind.
Go ahead. I'm not funny. I'm not on the show. I've been coming to value to the people.
I'm here to inform. Yeah, well, you're doing a terrible job. You haven't been here for too much. You're running the joke right into the ground.
You are a train wreck today, sir. I just a rain wreck. Thank you. But we love you anyway.
Have you really loved? I can give you the afterwards. I'll take you up on that. The reach run button grab from from here.
I'll pull out my crystals and we'll do some healing work afterwards. Speaking of crystals and healing work, you like how I segued in the thing that you already segued into. That's a good double segue. But oh, oh.
I'm not checking those on this show. So I can make fun of them all I want. Kenny don't tell him. Just Kenny even listens to the show.
OK. So does Joel. So does Joel. Shout to Joel on Bacon's Hill.
What's up, Joel? I might listen to your show someday. So that's a might with the lowercase M. So I was doing, I was on my list of my top five favorite stones.
And today, it just didn't feel right continuing on with that list. It was something that was just kind of urging me in a different direction. And what came to mind was lapetalite. And the reason why I'm talking about lapetalite, and when I look this up, it kind of made sense.
January is usually the time it's right after Christmas. Everyone has the blah feeling you get that seasonal depression kicks in. And I actually recently used this stone doing some energy work with one of our team mediums. Not Beaches because she's just awesome.
And she actually helps me do so. Sounds great. Lapetalite is actually, so it says it's a stone of transition. It helps it assist in the release and reorganization of old behavioral and psychological patterns, gently inducing change.
It brings deep emotional healing, soothing, and reducing stress and depression. It let petalite dissipate its negativity and assist on being used for the highest good. So that's probably the reason why I picked this stone, is just because of the release of stress and depression. And this is the perfect time of year for people to kind of get rid of those things.
Like I said, in January, you kind of get the seasonal depression. I know some of the other show hosts have talked about it like January and February is just completely like blah for them. And I was just talking about this the other day. Someone was asking me about my past as a funeral director.
And it's not a seasonal job, but from about thanks getting to early March, early spring, there's seriously an influx in the morbidity rate, the mortality rate of people passing away, people dying, seasonal affective disorder. You've got bad weather conditions. You've got the stress and anxiety of the holidays and more suicides. You've got the elderly that just give up the ghost.
And so I think it ties in with this time of the season, too. So lapelite, it also says it's one of the best mood stabilizers in the world of gemstones. The lapelite crystal contains a high amount of lithium, which is also used in anti-anxiety medications. But it doesn't require prescription and the side effects include a sense of calm and tranquility during times of stress and chaos.
Call on lapelite to balance the mind and spirit, especially when you need to cool off fiery emotions. This gentle healing stone stimulates all chakras, dissolving energy blocks, keeping you from true happiness. Stimulation. So now in all seriousness, the stone should help with the stress and the depression, but it's no replacement for like if you're feeling actually like really depressed and say you do pick up the stone, it may help, but I would also recommend reaching out to a friend, reaching out to family members, reaching out to us.
If you're depressed and you just need to have a talk to you, that's what we're here for. Typically people will talk about suicide before they actually do it, and I'm not encouraging anyone else to commit suicide, and it's not really a laughing matter, but it's a serious condition. Depression can be a serious ailment. So if you are feeling any kind of sadness or grief and you're having thoughts like that, please, please contact a friend, contact a family member.
There's a suicide hotline, there's all kinds of resources. My dad used to always say that a suicide is a permanent answer to temporary problems. Things will always get better. I can guarantee that.
Think about the worst day you've ever had. And then realize that two, three months down the road, you're having the best day ever. So when you're having that worst day, just remember that you've had that worst day in the past, and you've had happy days since, and they'll be future happy days. And you've got to have the valleys to enjoy the peaks.
You've got to have the low times in order to appreciate the good times and the really nice memories that you have in your life. So on top of that, with the stone, the depression, whatnot, I am trying to get more practice doing energy work with people. So this is kind of the first announcement I'm making. For those of you that live in the Salik area, kind of like Orem, Provo Ogden type areas, if you are interested in doing any energy work, doing crystal healing with me, please contact me, and I will try to set up an appointment with you.
And I will come to you where I can meet you somewhere, and we can get that taken care of. He's actually amazingly good. I've actually seen him in action several times, and dude knows his stuff. Like he said, he's learning, but he's pretty dang good for someone who's learning.
So if you're interested in that, take him up on that offer. He's usually easy to find on Facebook, through the pod bash goblin's group, you can find his name. You can contact us through the advanced paranormal Facebook page and ask for Tim. There's a lot of outlets where you can find Tim, AKA Beaker.
I really need to quit doing that AKA thing. That's fine. You can also contact me at tim.wisps.org. So moving on, let's talk recent investigations.
Normally we'd have DeAnn do that, but we think she maybe lost a snow dripper somewhere. So since Lurch has been in school for the last two years and hasn't investigated this for Douglas Lurch, take away with our recent investigations. I got nothing. So I know we did have a listener contact us, and we went up to the house there.
Their son was having some issues. Apparently at one point, he kind of went off on a rage fit, and this is not normal for this particular child. Is this recently? Yes.
Within the last month or so. They actually reached out to me personally, and I got them in contact with DeAnn and DeAnn went and did the investigation, but they kind of followed up with me on some of the stuff that was found. So I will give you the information that the homeowner gave me to the best of what I can recall. So her son was having some issues, and apparently at one point in time, he got tripped by a spirit apparently, and went head first through the wall in the basement.
Oh. And I do want to mention this particular son does have some level of autism, but he's been very high functioning, and he's never had any type of outburst or anything like this before. This was just completely random, just kind of came out of nowhere. So we went to check it out.
And from what I was told, the investigators found that over the husband's side of the bed, there was a miniature portal that was allowed a type three coming to the home. Apparently there was also two type twos in the home that were doing what the type three was kind of telling to do. Apparently it was one of these type twos that actually tripped the son and sent him head first into the wall. They did contact our friend Michelle, and she was the one that confirmed that there was the portal and kind of what was going on and helped them close that portal that was over the bed and kind of removed these spirits from the home.
And this is what I was told. So I was actually there on a different day for a different reason. And I did feel the energy of at least one spirit that was in the home. I was able to personally remove that spirit from the home, and I don't know if that spirit came back or not.
I just know that I found this is something I can recently do, like I can kind of move energy, if that makes sense. I can kind of kind of like what Peaches does. Like, manipulate energy is probably what you're looking for. Yeah, it's something I'm still learning.
There's a lot that I'm still learning and working on and trying to develop, but I was able to kind of focus my energy and I was kind of able to get the spirit to leave the home. Whether or not it came back, I have no idea because I don't talk to them since. But I also felt the energy, this particular person has their mother that watches over them. I felt her energy very strong.
Kind of felt that comforting energy that she was there kind of making sure that things were taken care of. And so that would be our recent investigations. You know, one thing that you mentioned that you hadn't heard back from the family. From my experience, usually when you don't hear back, that's good news.
Because usually when we go in, we build a really good reputation of the families we work with. And if they have problems, they contact us and we go back and try and follow up like we did in this case. So if we don't hear back another time, then usually the problem has been resolved and it's no longer an issue at all. And you had recent investigations they want to touch on?
That's the only one I worry about. I know there was a couple of other that they did and we can have DeAnn talk about it next time she's here, but that's the only one I got any information on, just because the homeowner told me directly of what they found in the investigation. Are you guys still calling her granny cinnamon? When do we remember?
Yeah. I was just wondering. She doesn't like it. I know that she doesn't like that.
I was just curious. I can imagine how she probably suppresses her reaction to that and it's probably hurting her feelings. We should do a listen to a poll and come up with a new nickname for her. We do it at a love of teasing granny sentiment.
No, I've actually had discussions with her. I was just thinking about that on the way over here. Yeah, I think we need to come up with a different name for her though. Yes, send your submissions to Tim at Wisp.org and we will go through those and determine that the best ones will create a poll and we will pick a new name for DeAnn.
I know she's been partial to Willow, but I think of Willow F good from the movie. Willow. Speaking of Willow F good. I'm not calling her Willow.
We've got our paranormal news and this particular paranormal news segment. I'm dedicating this to Satan. Did you see the one that's Satan? Did you see the one that the butterscotch pandas sent us?
I don't know what it is. Let me tell you what I got. Okay. Okay.
So first one's local and I'm gonna be, I know Kenny hasn't stolen this yet, so hopefully we'll beat him to the punch. Don't worry, he'll be on the very next day. Exactly. So this one's local.
Utah County man, runs a school bus to get away from Satan. Oh, Satan? Really? Yes, a Spanish workman who claimed he intentionally ran into a school bus for children.
Hold on, isn't that where you're from? Originally, yes. Because he's trying to get away from Satan. Now faces a long list of criminal charges.
I think I heard about this in the news where he was like trying to kick out the windshield or something. Brant J. Dedicar, 40, was charged Thursday and fourth district court with aggravated kidnapping, three counts of aggravated robbery, first degree felonies, 11 counts of aggravated assault, and damaging a jail, third degree felonies, and several class of misdemeanors with cleanly DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, drug possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Satan, huh?
Don't worry, like demons on his back. Don't do drugs, just say no kids. Don't do drugs, just say no kids. Dedicar struck a school bus from behind with his truck twice and a three block period.
The defendant stayed intentionally inclined with the bus to get away from Satan, who was chasing him, charged with a status. After hitting the bus a second time, Dedicar got out of his car and attempted to get into two other vehicles according to charging documents. He pounded on windows of at least one car. He opened the window and attempted to break it, and he then jumped into a large box truck and ordered the driver to take him to the Mount Ticnogus, Utah Temple in American Fort.
Oh my goodness, yeah, because they'll let him in. Was that drug test LSD or something? You got to get away from Satan, I can't see the better place he got in the States. He's in the East, right in the White Pony, right in the horse.
Although I would think the probably city center temple, probably would be a closer location, or maybe even the patient temple. But hey, who might have judged? That's awfully specific, take me to Mount Ticnogus Temple. Four pleasant growth police officers found Dedicar on Temple grounds.
They had difficulties hitting still for long, according to the charges. Coke. After he was arrested, Dedicar allegedly told him that scared his mother earlier than bad. Ah, there you go.
Which is a concentrated dose of cannabis extract. We're dabbing here. I'm getting my best due to orthodabic. Inside Dedicar's restaurant.
Castle. Yes. Oh dear. Let's never do that again.
At least I'm not flossing, because I don't know. That's cool, I can't do it either. While in the jail, Dedicar was observed pulling a metal bar off of the paper towel holder. You know, kids don't do drugs, because otherwise you'll go on a rampage running from Satan.
Oh my goodness. In other news, a small town in Alabama has blamed Satan for the recent spiking crimes. Satan? God, that he just everywhere to me.
Right. A rural Alabama police department was taken to Facebook to blame a recent state and homicides on young people who have embraced a Satan. On Tuesday, the Op Police Department shared a Facebook post saying that recent homicides in the area are because young people have turned away from God and embraced Satan. And it is time to ask God to help to stop this.
The Facebook post was a response to two gunshot killings in two days in Coneydon County, near the Alabama-Florida state line. Yeah, that's a great band. Alabama-Florida state line, isn't it? Needless to say, their Facebook post was taken down fairly quickly after it was put up, but Satan's had quite the month.
So that's why we're dedicating this. Broadcast, paranormal, do segment. Well, I think the article that the Butterscotch band has sent us kind of falls into the same. I must admit this article, I would have included it.
He posted it to the public Facebook page. Oh, that's probably why I did say it. This article did come from the onion, so I would take it with a grain of salt. But apparently, kids that learn a Latin at a young age are more likely to summon demons when they're older.
Oh, I did see that. Go figure. What? Is that either getting to the medical profession or summon demons?
Speaking of young kids learning Latin. What are you looking at me for? Does Lurch may have something to say to him? No.
I'm anti-Satan. That's why I was wanting to learn Latin, was to communicate with the demons that all these Satan worshipping kids are getting into. Come on. Well, they say because you know Latin, you'll be able to do the incantations and spell that out that someone's demons a lot better because of you.
The Viosa. The Viosa. The Viosa. The Viosa.
Oh, magic broomstick. Why? Why? I was texting you the Viosa.
No, that was the worst British accent. I mean, come on. Which one? Castle?
Castle? Yeah. It's more cockney. Pippa.
He doesn't seem to have a steak. I love doing kiddo. I love doing kiddo. I love doing kiddo.
I love doing kiddo. I love doing kiddo. Bad British accent. Hey, would you like a minute of doughnut?
All right. Wait. So there was a picture that we just popped up on the internet. This is another different normal.
But there was a picture that popped up on the internet of a crispy cream truck that was burned. And then the officers that were involved in that took pictures and posted online. Oh, that's so I can see where this is. So I just want to know, seeing that crispy cream truck all burnt up, how did that make you feel, Castle?
You know, the officer in that picture looked strikingly like me. However, it was not me. Because had that crispy cream truck been on my shift, it would have not have burned. We would have saved it.
Or at least the contents. It was down with your. I don't think the contents would have been safe if you were there. All they got to do is just down with their big old thermostat coffee.
They're going to go. Or in Utah, you know, hot cocoa. All right. Moving on.
We saved the truck from the fire. But we don't know what happened to it. Yeah. We don't know what happened to the 18 boxes of fried bread dough.
Come on. It may have been exposed to a fire retardant. So we have to dispose of that. Yeah.
It's going to take a matter. Along with the cannabis in the evidence room. I don't know why I said that. I don't know why I said that.
Because we don't think it's doughnuts. And never mind. This is the humor train. That was my train of thought.
It was the humor train. There's a hit for the wall. It worked. It jumped on board.
Slap it on the brakes. Come on. All right. Let's move on to our topic for the night.
In the past, we talked about we did an episode on how you can know your house was haunted. And it's weird because we often get, we'll talk to people and they'll be like, I don't want to talk to you. You'll think I'm crazy. And I know I've mentioned this before on the podcast.
We've talked about it. There's a clear difference between mental illness and having a ghost. The mental illness is when your dog is talking to you telling you to burn things. Rook or old David Berkowitz.
David Berkowitz. We actually had a case and we passed it on and it really did have some feel of mental illness. I don't know if you remember that one or not. Yes.
I think us and two other teams involved in that case. Yeah. Well, I can use some of that because I'm a mental. Yeah.
We were on an investigation. We were doing an investigation with Brian Cano and Elizabeth St. And I did the safety briefing. Ow!
My foot hurts from all the name dropping. And what we were doing is safety briefing. And one thing I mentioned was, hey, if you feel weird, let us know. And almost immediately one of the women there in the investigation was like, no, I feel weird.
And so I pulled her aside. And it was the demons are coming after me. I hear them. And I tried to get her good advice.
Was she hearing Latin being recited in her mind? Low guttural voices chanting the same thing over and over? No, because that would lead me to believe more something along what we had in Twillow. Yeah.
This was more. Is he still around? Does anyone know? We haven't talked to him.
OK, yeah, I know. You haven't heard of any double suicide murders? Super suicide in Twillow. I've often wondered.
Oh, man. I hope he's doing OK. But we pulled this lady aside. And she was telling me stuff that just didn't make sense.
And she was a good church-going Catholic woman. And I basically stuff that she's telling me, I'm like, yeah, maybe you should talk to your priest kind of thing because it didn't sound like it was up our alley. And then at that point, she started just blowing her Facebook page up as far as our messages. I believe you saw a lot of those, Tim.
Well, she was demeiling you directly, too. Yeah, email me directly. And just the stuff that she's like her dog had brought in a piece of wood, and she thought the wood was confused with the essence of Satan. Satan?
And just weird things like that. And it was just bizarre. I know that we tried to help her the best we could. I know she also reached out to her friend, the Bear River Paranormal, who then contacted us and asked us for help on the case.
And I believe Sappa also got involved, a friend's rest cook with them. I kind of warned Bear River because I got to a point, and I don't like doing this. But I mean, based on all the information we had, it was more mental illness based. And I just basically said, we can't help you.
And I got to the point where I had to stop responding to the messages and more or less blocker. Shortly thereafter, we were contacted by Bear River, who said, hey, she said she'd been in contact with you, hasn't been able to get a hold of you guys. And I said, do with it what you will. But here it was kind of my impression.
And Bear River worked with her for a very short period of time and kind of said, yes, same thing. Pass it on to Sappa. Looney Tunes. And Sappa, I think, went over there and basically kind of did the same thing and they basically said, yeah, you're kind of Looney Tunes.
But people, I've had people say, well, I've been afraid to contact you because I thought you'd think I'm crazy. And when we go to this list of stuff, this is all very common stuff that we see on most every investigation. Not everything on the list is on every investigation. But when people contact and say, I think I've got a problem, I expect to see two or three of these things on this list as things that they're experiencing that make me go, yep, they've got something going on.
And we're not judgmental. I mean, if you have a legitimate problem and you're concerned, we do want to try to find some sort of logical reasoning for it. We're not going to just jump to conclusions that everything's paranormal, but we will try to find some sort of rational logical explanation of what's going on. But if that falls outside of any possibilities that we've been able to explore, then yeah, we'll try to rule it as being paranormal.
And we'll try to find the root of it and help you solve it. So don't feel like you're under the microscope if you reach out and contact us. We're here to help. I was telling our services about what we do to a co-worker the other day.
And she was like, oh, what are you charged? $75? And I was like, no, it's $3.93. So I mean, we're happy to help.
It's what we do. It's a fun hobby. And it's like I said, it's what we do. Yeah, so like he said, our goal is to help people.
So whether or not it's paranormal, like if you touched deliberately, if you're suffering from depression or some sort of mental illness, we want to get you the help that you need. If it's paranormal related, obviously, we'll help you ourselves. But if it's something that's outside of the paranormal, we're more than happy to help direct you or guide you into that right direction or where you need to go to get the help that you actually need. Right.
And we'll refer you to where you need to go. So I've kind of compiled the list here. I've handed out to everybody of just some different things that we can expect. I'm trying to be like Kenny.
All right. So first on the list is a feeling being watched when it went alone. I always feel like somebody's watching me. I've got no privacy.
I don't. Literally. I think everybody in this room has experienced being on an investigation. A little bit.
And being in a room where you can feel something there. I've felt that in my house, like when I come home from work, I actually contacted Peaches and Caden about this. And was it confirmed that there was a spirit that was standing outside my house that would watch me come home every night? They're giving Tim the double birds.
I want to just give him Tim the double birds. I saw him a couple times. Actually, one time I saw him walk behind my brother's truck and like duck down and was kind of like peeking around the corner at me. Wow, that's crazy.
But we've all been in that situation. And when I say we all, I mean, even listeners, where you've been in a room and you're like, I'm not alone in here. And you go find your little brother or something. Hide me handle on your basket.
It's no different than a spirit. Although you're not going to find the spirit. It's the same feeling. I don't know what it is.
I think humans have a sixth sense, if you will, that we can sense other people around. Yeah. That's exactly what it is. My theory anyways, we're all energies, beings of energy.
And that's one of the theories with spirits is they're also compiled of the energy. It's just a different type of energy. But a lot of the way we communicate with each other is through our energy. So I'm talking on the phone.
I'm not a very good communicator because I can't feel the energy. So in my opinion, being able to sense that those spirits are there or not is you picking up on that spirit energy. Exactly. And it's just like picking up on other persons in the room.
And so if you're in a room and you feel like you're not alone, good chances are you're not alone. And you know, for any longtime listeners too, I've talked about in the past that I'm just not a sensitive person. But I've actually found over the last few months the last couple investigations that I can sense the negative energy, not so much the positive. But I can definitely sense.
And I'm starting to get a better understanding of when something bad is in the room. I can usually pinpoint what part of the room it's in. And that's kind of a cool feeling to be able to tap into that. The next thing we have on our list is feeling our sudden inexplicable change in temperature.
Or just cold spots. Cold spots, hot spots. Also even kind of a back to our first thing, a change of energy in the room. We've all been on investigations where Lurch just said something in Latin or Deanna has made some kind of racial joke towards a Native American spirit unintentionally.
And also you just feel the whole vibe in the room just change. Or you rub your butt against the spirit. Don't do that, Tim. Don't know about it.
I will not be doing that again. I got an instant competition in my mouth. I remember that. But you felt the change of energy.
Oh, yeah. And so feeling a sudden change of energy. And to be honest with you, even if you're not a paranormal investigator, you can feel it when someone comes into a room and says that's really offensive. And you just feel the whole mood and the room change.
The same thing. It's just you're feeling it with a person versus a disembodied person. I mean, that feel is a real thing. It's that change of energy is a very real thing.
And you still feel the spirit is just the way you do with the real people. One of the other things that we've talked about too is with objects disappearing and reappearing in different places. And we had a buddy of mine from when I lived in Idaho, Wilson, who was on the show about a year ago. And I'm not sure if anyone's listened to that episode.
But he used to work for, actually, he still does screen printing, silk screen. And he works in a print shop, a family-owned print shop. And one of the last locations that he was at a couple years back, I mean, we were talking like 15, 20 years ago too, when I lived in that area. He was in the print shop by himself at two or three in the morning and went to use the bathroom.
And right outside the door is a dresser. That's probably about two to 300 pounds filled with different types of paper. And he was in there just to urinate. And he was in there for maybe 30 seconds or so.
And when he tried to open up the door, that entire dresser was moved right in front of him. And so the potential for spirits to be able to move objects, not just something light, a watch, a ring, a necklace, or something, I mean, they can manipulate some pretty heavy stuff. And I think that's pretty cool. He's also had experiences where he has set down a watch in his house, and it's disappeared.
And then it showed up on the other side of the house a few days later. Electrical objects being manipulated, especially like computers, the apps on your desktop being rearranged and played with. The radio station's being changed. Those are all pretty calm things.
