Ok Amanda and I are peas in a pod. We are the ones who keep the chaos under control for the wildly creative and possibly ADHD folks out there who just aren't wired this way. So I had a blast chatting with her because we totally get each other and the work we do. And just when I thought I might lose her when I shared that I gave up on my underwear drawer, she sealed the deal with a reveal of her own (near the end!).Amanda made the transition from employee to entrepreneur very strategically, planning out how and when she would quit months in advance, running budgets and talking to her husband a lot about minimum revenues and impact at home. She also had conversations with her then employer about her plans.
